Wer durchs Fernsehen zappt oder ins Kino geht, wird einige Kapriolen erleben, die hier überspitzt gezeigt werden. Ob ein Kung Fu Film, die exzentrische Moderation, das Sexleben des amerikanischen Pärchens, oder die Werbung für ein Wundermittel gegen Kopfschmerzen, hier wird wohl kein Fettnäpfchen ausgelassen...

Die Episoden sind ein Spiegel der damaligen Medienlandschaft. Man versuchte wohl ein wenig Monthy Python zu „imponieren“, ein paar Gags zünden kräftig, während andere zu fest in die Länge gezogen wurden. Die etwas berühmteren Stars wie Sutherland oder Lazenby spielen zu überspitzt, als das sie natürliche Slapstick wiedergegeben hätten. Das mit dem Gefühlsaktiven Kino ist für mich wohl die beste Sequenz, die ist wirklich absolut gelungen. Und woher die Filmemacher/innen wissen das in der Schweiz Zürich nicht beliebt ist? Das ist mir wirklich ein Rätsel, aber der Verbannte tat mir echt leid, nur nicht nach Zürich, grins. Fazit: Sicher unterhaltsam, aber nicht alle Gags zünden, zudem muss man ein wenig die damalige Medienlandschaft kennen, um überhaupt zu wissen, was gemeint ist. Die DVD bietet zusätzlich: nicht verwendete Szenen, Trailer, usw..
