McHale’s Navy (TV-Serie)

McHale ist der Kommandant eines Navyschnellbootes während des 2. Weltkrieges im Pazifik. Sein Boot führt er ziemlich unkonventionell, statt sich dem Krieg zu widmen, macht seine Mannschaft eher bei Wettspielen mit. So kann er seine Mannschaft, sein Boot und sich selber ziemlich gut durch den Krieg bringen, doch die Admirale machen ihm immer mal wieder das Leben schwer...

Erfolgreiche Kriegskomödienserie aus den 60ziger Jahren. Damals war diese Serie ziemlich beliebt, heute mag sie ein wenig angestaubt wirken, da alles mehr oder weniger auf Slapstik aufgebaut ist. Nichtsdestotrotz ist die Serie sicher einen Lacher wert.
