Woodstock wurde bereits während dem Konzert zur Legende, doch auch Jahrzehnte danach wissen alle noch, was Woodstock war. Diese Dokumentation führt einen nicht nur auf die Bühne, sondern auch hinter das Geschehen und zum Publikum...

Eindrückliche Dokumentation, wobei man sich an die Machart zuerst gewöhnen muss. Nicht nur die meisten Besucher werden „Stone“ gewesen sein, sondern auch die Doku wartet mit speziellen Bildern auf, die an die Hippies erinnern. Wenn man sich aber an die filmische Art gewöhnt hat, zeigt der Streifen viel vom ganzen Ambiente, das damals herrschte. Wer zugleich die Musik mag, wird viele Gruppen oder Interpreten erkennen. Manch eine Gruppe wurde in Woodstock berühmt und hatte auch nachher noch Erfolg. Fazit: Der Film wurde wie Woodstock gedreht, ausgeflippt und dennoch faszinierend.
